Big Statement on National Education Policy, Learning Hindi Not Mandatory for Students

National Education Policy: At this time, all schools and education systems follow the National Education Policy 2020. Several controversies were arising regarding the Hindi language through this policy. Amidst all this, a statement has come from Vidya Bharati, the education wing of RSS, in which they have said that reading and learning Hindi is not necessary for us. Every student’s education should be in their mother tongue. No language should be imposed on any state.

According to the National Education Policy, this information was given. Earlier, the National Education Policy 1968 had also stated that no pressure should be put on any state regarding any language. Students should learn their own language and the national language, as well as any foreign language. If a student lives in Tamil Nadu, they can learn Tamil, and if they live in Kerala, they can learn Malayalam. The education policy does not mandate that learning the Hindi language is necessary.

Talk About Private School Fees

In a recent annual press conference, Ravindra Kanhare from Vidya Bharati shared this information. Due to the continuously increasing fees by private schools, parents are put in distress. There is no information about whether children are getting good education or not, but paying fees on time has become a compulsion. In such a situation, schools should charge reasonable fees, and it is necessary for parents to know whether the education their children are receiving matches the fees they are paying.

Private Schools Have Become Money-Making Machines

After this, Ravindra Kanhare said that private schools have become a kind of money-making machine. Some time ago, the High Court had also reprimanded Delhi Public School, saying that it has become a money-making machine that considers students as its property. Along with this, some changes in the NCERT curriculum were also discussed.
